When Will Black America Wake Up and Stop the Carnage?

Posted on July 25th, 2011 by Jerome Hudson

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil:  God will not hold us guiltless.  Not to speak is to speak.  Not to act is to act.”
—Dietrich Bonhoeffer

In an alternate reality, 54 million blacks would be alive in America today.  When adjusted for abortion, the number is 39 million.

The National Black Prolife Coalition says an average of 1,000 black babies are aborted every day.  Nationally, nearly one in three black pregnancies ends in abortion each year.  In New York City in 2009, 47%, or 40,798, of the city’s 87,273 abortions were performed on black women.

This led Alveda King, Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece, to declare that, “The most dangerous place for an African-American is in the womb!(more…)

Schools Fall Victim to State “Robin Hood” Games

Posted on July 21st, 2011 by Alli Bachmann
Socialism: What’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine? Mi casa es su casa? A primary goal of socialism is social equality. Impossible. The reality of socialism is that social equality is a myth and what actually occurs is a redistribution of wealth. We live in a class system and our schools are naturally part of a class society. The class system is not defined at birth, as some may have been brainwashed into believing.  Wealthy families were created, somewhere down the road, by someone’s sacrifice, dedication, blood, and sweat. It is simply survival of the fittest.

As a child, we watched Robin Hood steal from the rich and give to the poor. We thought this was a noble act as we crowned him a hero. The image in the movie, Robin Hood, was created by the poor, dressed in ragged clothing, splitting a crumb of food amongst a family of six. The rich, or royalty, live in a shiny castle and radiate elegance in rich materials and experiences. The rich therefore become easy to hate. We categorize them as evil. We automatically victimize the poor. The problem with wiping out the class system and creating social equality is a matter-of-fact question: who would Uncle Sam, or Robin Hood, steal from to keep funding the poor? (more…)

Undercover Gay In Bachmann Clinic Makes a Bad Case

Posted on July 20th, 2011 by Chris Ford

Recently on Advocate.com, an LGBT(Q?) site for all issues that apparently affect the community, a John Becker wrote an op-ed about going undercover to “infiltrate” the Bachmann Clinic that belongs to Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann’s husband and apparently “expose” an abusive type therapy that the LGBT community might undertake as patients.

Mr. Becker makes a lot of loose points without any real concrete ideas to support his stance because in the end, he is not truly there for the right reasons. I mean a gay guy going through therapy to expose the therapy as faulty while saying that he is truly trying to be straight is kind of like a male and female team of co-anchors going into marriage counseling to expose that it doesn’t work for a news story. The true reasoning isn’t there, as made clear by Becker’s own mission statement:

“I was to go undercover to Bachmann & Associates in Lake Elmo, MN posing as someone seeking counseling for homosexuality, schedule as many appointments as I could, and document what went on during my appointments with hidden cameras.” (more…)

Data Supports “Right-to-Work” States Over “Forced-Union” States

Posted on July 13th, 2011 by Alli Bachmann

Right-To-Work states can be indentified on the map below. Ironically, the states labeled as “blue” are predominantly “red” states during election season.  42 Right-To-Work bills are pending in 24 other states, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Right-To-Work is a foundation that was established to protect the civil rights of employees while eliminating forced unionism. Right-To-Work is not so much “anti-union” but rather anti-forced unionism. The laws give employees the option to decline joining a union, back out of a union, and barring union dues from being deducted from the paychecks of public employees.  Unions across the country have recently been under fire in many states and situations: Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey, and Boeing of Seattle. Texas Snubs President Obama, Delivers A Strong Dose of Justice Anyway

Posted on July 8th, 2011 by Alli Bachmann

In 1994, a 16 year old Texas girl was found outside a San Antonio street-party naked and bludgeoned to death with a chunk of asphalt. A large stick was discovered sticking out of her lifeless teenage body after she was kidnapped, raped and murdered with pleasure by Humberto Leal.

Leal, 38, was brought to the U.S. illegally at the age of 2 and was found guilty of Adria Sauceda’s 1994 rape and death. Residing in the U.S. since he was a toddler, although a Mexican national, Leal could have contacted his diplomatic representatives for legal assistance. (more…)

Blacks Hit Hardest by Obama’s Liberal Agenda

Posted on June 26th, 2011 by Jerome Hudson

Recent reports reveal the harsh reality of hope and change.  According to CBS News, while the national average is a depressing 9.1%, black unemployment stands at a dismal 16.2%.  Worse still, black teens 16 to 19 face 41% unemployment.  CBS News, noting the historical disparity between black unemployment and the national average, adds that these are “Depression-era levels.”

The fact that most black uplift is held hostage by a confluence of cultural cancers that are constantly overlooked is part of the problem.  But black America’s enduring conflict—a hesitancy to address deep historical contradictions—is the real culprit.

That President Obama’s race is associated with slavery suggests a cosmic karma.  That he has become the leader of the party that went to war to preserve it is beyond ironic.  This is the Democratic paradox.  (more…)

The Obama Administration: Mandating Your Healthiness From a Throne of French Fries

Posted on June 24th, 2011 by Chris Ford

“No, if I picked one favorite, favorite food, it’s French fries.”  The audience began to laugh.  “Okay?  It’s French fries,” Obama continued.  “I can’t stop eating them.”  As the students laughed more, the First Lady quickly returned to her role as advocate of health eating.  “But eat your vegetables,” she said, to still more laughs.  “And exercise.” – Washington Examiner

Oh Michelle, you never cease to amaze me with your dazzling remarks to your zombies, I mean fans, I mean audiences. Leave it to progressive liberals to make decisions for your “benefit”, yet completely ignore them themselves.

Michelle Obama isn’t new to the health food scene, obviously. Her “Let’s Move” campaign is all about healthier food choices and physical activity for youth. Don’t get me wrong, that is a fantastic venture to take up…at least in “non-mandated” terms. Here is the problem though, the Obama administration is doing more than just promoting healthier lifestyles, they are forcing it on families.

Let’s talk about the Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act that was signed last December by the Obama administration. This Act affects schools on the local level in regards to their lunch content and pricing. (more…)

A Weiner is a Horrible Thing to Waste

Posted on June 16th, 2011 by Chris Ford

Get your mind out of the gutter; I am referring to Congressman Anthony Weiner.

Rumor is that Mr. Weiner is planning on stepping down, according to friends of his, amidst his recent Twitter/facebook scandals. See Weiner was sending pictures of it to a variety of women over the social media outlets. Nancy Pelosi, President Obama and other big-hitters on the Left have called for him to step aside to slow the train of embarrassment that has followed him.

I don’t know about your feelings on the matter but I would prefer if he stays in! (more…)

Lower the Debt Ceiling and Raise Our Moral Ceiling

Posted on June 5th, 2011 by Jerome Hudson

As the White House lobbies to raise the nation’s debt ceiling, why not instead raise its moral ceiling? After decades of rewarding bad behavior, it is in the government’s best interest—and perhaps even its duty—to promote the morals and values that made our nation great.

The Obama administration wants Congress to raise the debt ceiling so our government can borrow more than the almost $14.3 trillion currently allowed by law.  Conservatives want any debt increase tied to spending cuts, and a recent vote shows Obama lacks the political capital to ram through an increase as he might have in the past.

But an increase in borrowing authority is no solution to our nation’s woes.

How will a little bump curtail unfunded entitlement liabilities some estimate to cost more than $100 trillion? (more…)

While Obama Bounces, America Declines

Posted on May 26th, 2011 by Jerome Hudson

While pundits debate if Obama’s decision to kill Osama bin Laden benefits the President politically, the average American — after some celebration — is still fixated on the economy.

Unemployment still hovers around nine percent. Home values are still down and the dollar is in a nosedive. Food and gas prices are soaring, and one in seven Americans receives food stamps.

Is this how we “win the future”? (more…)
